Weakly alkaline electrolyzed water
Weakly alkaline electrolyzed water, also known as hydrogen-rich water or hydrogen water (Japan), alkaline ionized water, electrolytic reduced water, refers to the filtered tap water is electrolyzed in a diaphragm electrolyzer, and the H+ on the cathode side is converted into H2. As a result, the concentration of OH- on this side increases; at the same time, minerals such as calcium, magnesium and potassium in the water accumulate to the cathode and produce alkaline ionized water.
Therefore, weakly alkaline electrolyzed water has four characteristics, weakly alkaline (pH 7.5-9.0), higher mineral concentration, rich in hydrogen, and negative oxidation-reduction potential (ORP).
Weakly alkaline electrolyzed water is a kind of healthy direct drinking water. Its research originated in Japan in the 1980s. It was first inspired by the water quality of the daily drinking stream in Changshou Village, Yamanashi County, Japan. Researchers have found that a high negative redox potential (ORP value between -150mV and -300mV) and a pH value over 7.5 are characteristics of alkaline mineral waters in natural mountain streams and some deep wells. Therefore, Japanese researchers have developed weak alkaline electrolyzed water production equipment on this basis.

Strong alkaline electrolyzed water
Strong alkaline electrolyzed water, also known as strong alkaline electrolyzed ion water, refers to electrolyzed water with a pH value higher than 9.0 (when used in industrial cleaning, its pH value can reach about 13.0), and its active ingredient is NaOH/KOH, which contains active Hydrogen can effectively remove dirt such as lipids and proteins.
The strong alkaline electrolyzed water equipment uses a diaphragm electrolyzer, and the electrolyte is generally K2CO3. The electrolyte can also be NaCl or KCl, which is produced together with the strong acid electrolyzed water.
Unlike other alkaline water formed by caustic soda, strong alkaline electrolyzed water will not cause skin irritation or chemical burns. In addition to its bactericidal effect, super alkaline ionized water is very effective in decomposing oil, so it is widely used in cleaning manufacturing products and industrial machinery and parts, as well as CIP cleaning.
