II. Acid washing: The sodium hypochlorite generator needs to be acid washed once every 250 hours of cumulative operation time, which can be adjusted according to the water quality condition. During acid washing, first open all the drain valves to drain the accumulated saline water in the pipeline. Then open the acid inlet valve and the acid outlet valve until acid water flows out of the outlet pipe, and then close the acid inlet valve. After soaking the acid water in the electrode tube for 1-2 hours, drain the acid water, and then flush it once. Generally, the dilute hydrochloric acid is adjusted to a concentration of about 10%.
III. Operation: Open the salt solution inlet valve, adjust the flow control valve to control the flow rate at 5-6 liters per hour, open the drug outlet valve and the cooling water valve, and start the rectifier power supply. Generally, the current should be controlled within 50A and the voltage should be around 5V. If the voltage is too high, it means that the salt concentration is low, and vice versa. (This device has a set current limit of 50A) The electrolysis process begins.
IV. Backwashing: After each operation, it must be backwashed once. During backwashing, first open the drain valve to drain the accumulated saline water in the pipeline. Then open the backwash drain valve and the inlet valve, and flush for about 10 minutes. Then open the drain valve to drain any remaining water, and wait for the next use.
In addition, the sodium hypochlorite generator can also decompose residual trace drugs on agricultural and sideline products such as vegetables and fruits. Most drugs are composed of organic matter, and the active oxygen released by the sodium hypochlorite generator can oxidize and decompose these substances. This undoubtedly has a significant promoting effect on the development of modern agriculture and fruit and vegetable packaging industry.
Since the disinfectant produced by the sodium hypochlorite generator does not produce free chlorine like chlorine and chlorine dioxide disinfectants in water, it is generally difficult to generate carcinogens that are harmful to human health due to the presence of free chlorine. It also does not cause damage and toxicity to life like ozone, which only requires a very low concentration (0.001mg/m3) in the air. Moreover, it will not corrode metal pipes like chlorine reacts with water to ultimately form hydrochloric acid.
